SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT COOK-OUT

The Supported Employment Program and Janitorial
Program hosted a cook-out on June 12th at Morton Park. David
Rennels (CCAR program consumer) and Leann Chupp (CCAR Job Coach)
spent several weeks planning and organizing this event.
Everyone agrees that they did a fantastic job! Morning
activities included frisbee, whiffle ball, and horse shoes.
The meal included: hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, chips,
baked beans, macaroni salad, rice crispy treats, and ice cream.
Leann, Deb, and David did a great job on the grill! David said
that they only burned one hamburger. After the meal, everyone
participated in a group game of whiffle ball. The teams
appropriately named themselves the Hatfields and the McCoys.
The McCoys won, but the Hatfield team captain vows to win in next
year's rematch.
Everyone had so much fun that we plan to make
this annual event!
