| 24-Hour Community
Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) The Community Integrated Living Arrangement provides adults living with a developmental disability more enhanced supports than the Client & Family Support program. The program allows individuals to live in environments that are structured and supervised for 24 hours per day, but yet in neighborhood settings. Our homes are designed for 4-6 individuals. Staff assist individuals in goals that promote more independent living and community integration. Some individual goals may include: shopping, preparing meals, doing laundry, housekeeping, budgeting money, developing personal hobbies, and becoming more involved in the community. Children's Group Home The Children's Group Home is for children in need of 24 hour supervision while allowing them to remain in a community environment. Children in this program attend local schools and participate in community activities. Goals for the children in the program are similar lo the goals in the adult programs. Teaching children to shop, do laundry, housekeeping, and learning to budget money now will hopefully make for more independent adults. A healthy staff to child ratio helps promote more one to one assistance for the children as they learn to be more independent. Strong family relationships are encouraged for the children. Parents and guardians are welcomed into the home and activities can be scheduled around family outings or visits. A nurse is always on call for medical emergencies or medication needs. |
